The patented Zephyr Integrated Drive System™ is specifically designed as a drop-in replacement for the current gearbox fan drive. The fan height in the Fan Stack is critical to cooling performance because the fan has to sit at the throat region of the fan stack in order to provide proper fan performance. The Zephyr is specifically designed to maintain or correct the fan height in the Fan Stack.

 The Zephyr is a drop-in replacement
for the gearbox fan drive. The Zephyr:
- follows conventional design standards
- does NOT require any structural modifications
- is mounted to the existing ladder frame with a simple four bolt installation
- eliminates the drive shaft, couplings and tedious alignments
- fan hub mounting is identical to the gearbox
- is designed to electrical area classification Class 1, Div. 2, Groups B, C & D
- is sealed to IP64.
